Denman Tennis Club turns 90

Denman Tennis Club redevelopment project

Denman is seeking to commence a long overdue redevelopment of the northern clubhouse facilities in 2024, with some sections dating back to the 1950's. Despite Denman's impressive participation and utilisation of the facility (60 competitive teams annually and 590 + users), the current facilities are non-compliant to today's standards, jeopardising our future ability to maintain and grow on our success to date because of the expectation of members and community users not being met.

 Denman has the support of the City of Mitcham with significant funds allocated to assist with the upgrade along with funds allocated by Denman. We are currently seeking additional funds from the Office of Recreation, Sport and Racing with a submission to be lodged on the 25 September 2023. We thank all stakeholders and community groups who have contributed to the development of the final plans that should see Denman meet the needs of our members and the community for years to come.
