Despite Denman's impressive participation and utilisation of the facility (60 competitive teams annually and 590 + users), the current facilities are non-compliant to today's standards, jeopardising our future ability to maintain and grow on our success to date because of the expectation of members and users not being met.

Key project DELIVERABLES:

1. Create a female and male ambulant toilet and change facility.
2. Create a compliant accessible disability toilet and shower facility.
3. Redesign a compliant kitchen including the safe preparation and serving of food.
4. Reorganise servery and bar, segregating the canteen from serving of alcohol.
5. Installation of reverse cycle air-conditioning.
6. Resurface six courts for improved gameplay and safety.

Key project OUTCOMES:

1. The facility equally caters for females, males, and people with disabilities.
2. The facility has both ambulant and accessible toilets and showers.
3. The current participation and utilisation is maintained and grown.
4. The court surface provides both a safe and consistent surface for improved game play.
5. The expectations of all users in line with fees paid is aligned.
6. Less energy and water usage.
7. Creation of an inclusive environment to all who wish to use the facilities all year round.
